SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern 2025
The SSC Stenographer exam consists of two stages – a written exam and a skill test.
Written Examination Pattern
The written exam includes the following sections:

General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 questions for 50 marks

General Awareness: 50 questions for 50 marks

English Language & Comprehension: 100 questions for 100 marks

Total: 200 questions for 200 marks
Each question carries 1 mark, and negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for each wrong answer.
Skill Test Details
The skill test is of qualifying nature. Candidates will be required to take a Stenography Test at the following speeds:

Additionally, a Typing Test will be conducted:
