Understanding the Counselling Paths – AIQ vs. Quota
The MCC provides counselling for the following seats
- 15% All India quota (AIQ) seats at all government medical/dental schools
- 100 % seatsย at Central Institutions such as AIIMS and JIPMER.
- Seats at Delhi University (DU), IP University(VMMC) and ABVIMS.
Candidates must submit separate applications to their state counseling authorities for the remainingย State Quotaย seats.ย Check the website of your state medical education directorate to find out their schedule and rules.
Checklist of Documents You Should Always Have Ready
It is important to have your documents organized for a smooth process of verification.ย You should keep clear scans of your documents and hard copies.
- NEET UG 2025 Admit Card
- NEET UG 2025 Scorecard/Rank Letter
- Class 10 Certificate (as a proof of date-of-birth)
- Class 12 Certificate with Mark Sheet
- Valid photo ID (Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, etc.).
- Please upload 8 passport-sized photos (the same as those on your application).
- Download the Provisional Allocation Letter from the MCC Website after seat allocation.
- If applicable, Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
- PwD certificate, if applicable.
- Domicile certificate (required for state quota)
- You can get a Migration Certificate by transferring from an earlier board/university.
- Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a licensed medical practitioner.

Registration and Security Deposit explained
During registration, you will be required to pay two different types of fees: a non-refundable registration charge and a refundable deposit.
Central Universities / All India Quota: 15%
- General/EWS:ย Rs1,000 (Registration) + Rs10,000 (Security Deposit)
- SC/ST/OBC/PwD:ย Rs500 (Registration) + Rs5,000 (Security Deposit)
For Deemed Universities:
- All Categoriesย Rs5,000 Registration + Rs2,00,000.
Important:ย After the counseling process is completed, the security deposit will be refunded into your bank account if you enroll in the college that was allocated.ย If you do not attend the college to which you were assigned a seat, your security deposit may be forfeited.

Step 2 – Start a New Registration

Step 3: Enter your credentials
Please enter your NEET UG roll number, application number, mother’s name, and date of birth exactly as it appear on your scorecard.
Step 4: Paying the fees
Online, using a reliable Internet connection, pay the non-refundable fee for registration and the refundable deposit.
Step 5: Select and lock your choices
The most important step is to fill out your college and course preferences.ย In order of preference, list your top colleges and courses.ย Fill in as many options as you like.ย You cannot change your choice once you have locked it.
